14th July, 2026, the Union Minister of Heavy Industries and Steel – GOI, Shri H. D. Kumaraswamy chaired a review meeting of the Braithwaite Burn & Jessop Construction Company Limited (BBJ) along with senior officials of the Ministry of Heavy Industries and the company's leadership.

The discussions focused on strengthening BBJ's core expertise in railway bridge engineering, expanding its project portfolio, improving execution capabilities, diversifying into new infrastructure segments and enhancing collaboration with other CPSEs to unlock greater synergies and growth opportunities.

BBJ has made a significant contribution to India's railway and infrastructure development over the years. We remain committed to supporting its continued growth while further strengthening indigenous engineering capabilities.
